The Fanciest Team Ever

It’s no secret at all that I love what I do for a living. As a student of life, I view my career as a fantastic opportunity for continuous learning and growth, both professionally and personally. Working in the Commercial sector in Grand Rapids affords me the ability to really connect with people I like being around, which in turn allows me to be even closer to the community that I love and the city that I believe in.
If you’ve worked with me before, you’ll know that my clients are never just clients, but rather people whose dreams I work hard for and whose company I really enjoy. The people that I do business with are the same people that I will continue to root for in every way and always.

As a proud native of Muskegon, Michigan, I bring a deep and personal understanding of the West Michigan real estate market to every transaction. My journey in real estate began after an educational path that led from Muskegon Community College to Grand Valley State University. It was during my time in Grand Rapids that I recognized the immense potential of the area—a realization that fueled my decision to enter the commercial real estate sector.
Today, as a dedicated commercial real estate agent, I am committed to utilizing my extensive market knowledge and robust local network to ensure smooth and successful transactions for my clients. Known for clear communication, I keep all parties well-informed throughout the process, while my proactive approach to problem-solving helps navigate any challenges that arise. My goal is always to exceed expectations by leveraging my connections and a steadfast dedication to excellence.
Outside of work, I am deeply rooted in the community and culture of West Michigan. Whether I'm participating in local auto events, playing a round of golf, or engaging with fellow community members, I am always connected to the pulse of the area I call home.

Backed by more than two decades of experience in corporate communication, public relations, and a deep understanding of the space needs of Grand Rapids’ small businesses, I bring a blend of high-impact skills to our clients at Fancy Real Estate.
It was my entrepreneurial spirit and passion for economic and community development that brought me to commercial real estate. Drawn on my background in partnership development, change management, and communication to tap into my true passion: applying design-based thinking to solve complex, community-wide issues. This is also what led me to work with the City of Grand Rapids as the Designated Corridor Manager for the Southtown and Michigan Street Corridor Improvement Areas. Supporting these local revitalization initiatives- particularly in Southeast Grand Rapids- made me realize that the combination of economic and property development is a powerful way to put my skills and passion to work.
A true connector at heart, I love bringing local businesses together with resources that serve them, building bridges for social capital, and brainstorming thoughtful ideas that spark growth. I aim to be a leader in the economic ecosystem of Grand Rapids who drives new narratives in equity-rooted research and partnership.
Within the community, I contribute my time as a member of the Board of Directors of the Women’s Resource Center, and was part of the capital campaign for the organization's new headquarters in Madison Square.
In my free time, I enjoy live music, cooking for my family and friends, and watching way too many crime dramas.

I know real estate. I also know what happens after the “SOLD” sign comes down.
I’m a commercial real estate agent with a background in affordable housing, property management, and making complicated real estate problems look slightly less complicated. Before jumping into commercial sales, I spent years in the trenches- working with properties, owners, residents, budgets, compliance, maintenance, and all the delightful surprises that come with owning a building.
That experience is now my secret weapon.
I don’t just look at a property and see square footage, cap rates, and a pretty façade. I’m thinking about how it actually operates, who uses it, what could go wrong, what could go right, and whether the numbers make sense. Basically, I’m the person who wants to know what’s behind the walls- and probably what’s in the maintenance closet, too.
My approach to commercial real estate is straightforward: be curious, be honest, know the numbers, and don’t be afraid to ask the weird questions. I believe the best deals happen when you understand both the business side of real estate and the very human side of it.
I’m especially drawn to properties and projects with a little personality- entrepreneurs, developers, creative spaces, neighborhood businesses, and the wonderfully odd corners of real estate that don’t fit neatly into a box.
Think of me as your real estate translator, problem-solver, occasional detective, and professional “Wait…what happens if we do THIS?” person.
Let’s find something interesting.

I’m a Michigan native and have spent the last six years working in affordable housing property management, mostly throughout the greater Grand Rapids area. Along the way, I’ve worked with residents, property owners, vendors, and community partners- and learned that real estate is rarely just about the property. The people involved matter just as much.
Property management has also made me a pretty natural problem solver. I like asking questions, figuring out what someone actually needs, and finding a way forward when the answer isn’t obvious. That mindset is a big part of what drew me to Fancy and what I’m excited to bring into commercial real estate.
I’m looking forward to continuing to grow my knowledge of Grand Rapids while expanding into Holland and the surrounding West Michigan communities. For me, it’s about getting to know the people, businesses, and places that make these communities what they are- and helping people navigate real estate without making it more complicated than it needs to be.
When I’m not working, I’m usually in the middle of a project around the house, figuring out how to fix something I probably could’ve hired someone to do, or finding a reason to start something new. There’s also a pretty good chance I’m doing it in a pair of Chuck Taylors.
